Emilio De Bono

Emilio De Bono (Cassano d’Adda, March 19, 1866 – Verona, January 11, 1944) was an Italian general and politician. He served as a senator of the Kingdom of Italy from the XXVI legislature onward. A member of the National Fascist Party, he was one of the quadrumvirs of the March on Rome. De Bono held the rank of Marshal of Italy and was a member of the Grand Council of Fascism. He participated in the Italo-Turkish War, World War I, and the Second Italo-Ethiopian War. During the latter, he commanded the Italian army in the early stages of the conflict.
