The Maserati GranTurismo was unveiled at the 2007 Geneva Motor Show, representing an icon of elegance and performance in the automotive landscape. Designed by Pininfarina, the GranTurismo boasts a drag coefficient of 0.33, showcasing a captivating and functional design. Initially equipped with a 4.2-liter V8 engine developed in collaboration with Ferrari, the car delivers a maximum power output of 405 horsepower and features a 6-speed ZF automatic transmission. The GranTurismo’s 2+2 body is based on the Maserati M139 platform, also shared with the Maserati Quattroporte V. The double-wishbone front suspension and multilink rear suspension ensure impeccable handling, combining comfort and dynamic performance for an unmatched driving experience. Attention to detail and driver comfort is evident in every aspect of the GranTurismo’s design, conceived to offer a perfect balance between luxury and performance. Throughout its production cycle, the Maserati GranTurismo has won the hearts of sports car enthusiasts worldwide, becoming a symbol of exclusivity and sophistication. With the last unit rolling off the production lines on November 11, 2020, after selling 28,805 units, the GranTurismo has closed an important chapter in automotive history, leaving an indelible legacy in the luxury car landscape.
