As the concept version of SsangYong’s B-segment CUV project, the XIV-1 served as a precursor to a future production model aimed at broadening the Korean automaker’s portfolio. It combined SsangYong’s design heritage with its forward-looking vision, blending elements of its past while pointing toward an exciting future for the brand. The XIV-1 was developed according to SsangYong’s corporate philosophy of “Robust, Specialist, Premium,” resulting in a vehicle that balanced durability and sophistication.
