The Peugeot 1007: the city car with sliding doors by Pininfarina.
The Peugeot 1007 is a three-door mini MPV manufactured and marketed by Peugeot from 2005 to 2009, sharing its platform with the Peugeot 206, Citroën C2 and Citroën C3, and noted for its user swappable interior trim pieces – and its four pillar design incorporating two power sliding doors. Sales commenced in April 2005 in Europe. The Peugeot 1007 line, signed by Pininfarina, is characterized by a squared-off body full of edges. The front is characterized by the large opening that constitutes the air intake for the radiator, cut by the black plastic bumper. Above the opening is the large shield with a chrome frame and the lion symbol of Peugeot. The drop-shaped headlights are elongated and stretched backwards. Looking at the Peugeot 1007 from the side, you can see the sloping C-pillar with the wraparound rear window. Other characteristic elements of the side view are the large door handles and the aluminum-colored rail along which the door slides and which continues into the tailgate, under the rear window, with a strip on which there is the word Peugeot. Below are the two headlights which enclose three ovoid elements and which continue on the side to resume the line of the wraparound rear window.
