The Nissan GT-R 50 by Italdesign is the product of a collaboration between the Japanese car manufacturer Nissan and the renowned Italian design house Italdesign, which began in 2018 with the creation of a prototype bearing the same name. Following the success and positive reception of the prototype, both companies decided to proceed with the production of a limited series of just 20 units for the road-going version. This exclusive model was created to celebrate two significant milestones: the 50th anniversary of the Nissan GT-R in 2019 and Italdesign’s 50th anniversary in 2018. The Nissan GT-R 50 is built upon the latest Nissan GT-R NISMO platform, but it has been enhanced with a unique design and features that set it apart from any previous GT-R model. At the heart of the car is a NISMO-tuned, hand-built 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine, capable of producing an impressive 720 PS. This extraordinary power, combined with Italdesign’s design expertise, results in a vehicle that is both visually striking and high-performing.
