Vehicle Overview

The Aprilia, Vincenzo Lancia’s final masterpiece before his death, was acclaimed as the most outstanding car of the 1936 Paris Motor Show: the car’s engine was a V4 in tight alloy with hemispheric combustion chambers (1351 cc, producing 47.8 hp at 4300 rpm), its suspension was independent all round and it had a metal monococq body, all of which contributed to placing the Aprilia on a pedestal way above its competitors. The Aprilia was also offered with a floorpan chassis 239 and 439 and with a wheelbase of 2850 mm for use by the carrozzieri.
