The Jaguar Golden Arrow is a truly special and one-of-a-kind vehicle, one of only three unique Jaguars designed and built by the esteemed Italian coachbuilder Stabilimenti Farina. Built on the MK VII chassis, the Golden Arrow features a stunning convertible body that showcases Farina’s craftsmanship and design talent. Its elegant lines and timeless beauty made it a standout at the 1952 Brussels Motor Show and also at the Turin Auto Salon, where it captured the attention of enthusiasts and collectors alike. The Golden Arrow was part of a trio of custom Jaguars, which also included the Jaguar Meteor; a coupé version of the Golden Arrow; and the Flying Jaguar, based on the XK 120 chassis. These bespoke cars were commissioned by the Brussels Jaguar dealer, who sought to combine Jaguar’s engineering excellence with Farina’s distinctive Italian design. Today, all three cars; the Golden Arrow, Meteor, and Flying Jaguar; still exist, each a testament to the collaboration between Jaguar and Stabilimenti Farina.
