The Fiat Bravo Vuscià by I.DE.A Institute, presented at the 1996 Turin Auto Salon, showcased a distinctive evolution of the Fiat Bravo platform. Designed under the direction of Justyn Norek, this concept car was based on the Fiat Brava chassis, featuring a lengthened wheelbase of 20 cm and an overall length of 4.45 meters. The Vuscià was part of a larger exhibit featuring various concept cars based on the Fiat Bravo, highlighting the innovative spirit of the design competition. The Vuscià was engineered to offer versatile functionality, capable of seating up to six passengers or alternatively accommodating just two passengers with a generous cargo area. This flexibility made it ideal for modern leisure use, blending passenger comfort with substantial carrying capacity. The design emphasized spaciousness and adaptability, addressing contemporary needs for both functionality and style in a single vehicle. The extended dimensions of the Vuscià allowed for an expansive interior, setting it apart from more traditional configurations and emphasizing its role in the design contest. The focus on maximizing space and practicality reflected a forward-thinking approach to automotive design, showcasing the potential for existing platforms to be transformed into more versatile and innovative vehicles. In 2003, the Vuscià concept was revisited and reintroduced under the Chinese brand Changan, where it was renamed the Jiexun.
