Vehicle Overview
The Frazer-Nash Namir made its debut at the 79th International Motor Show in Geneva, marking a significant shift in the realm of hybrid sports cars. Designed by Italdesign Giugiaro as a coupé, the Namir embodies the latest advancements in hybrid technology while offering a strikingly futuristic aesthetic. The car is characterized by its meticulously balanced proportions, with a dynamic contrast between its sharply defined rear end and the fluid, aerodynamic lines of the front. Performance is a key highlight of the Namir, showcasing remarkable speed and acceleration. It boasts a top speed of over 300 km/h (187 mph) and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds. Impressively, it achieves 0 to 200 km/h in 10.4 seconds, establishing it as the fastest hybrid vehicle globally at its time of release. The Frazer-Nash Namir’s hybrid system is engineered for both performance and efficiency. It combines an 814 cc rotary engine with four electric motors, which together ensure an exceptional fuel efficiency. The vehicle offers a range of 39 km per litre of fuel, with CO2 emissions kept below 60 grams per kilometer, underscoring its ecological credentials. The Namir’s design not only emphasizes its advanced technological features but also its commitment to sustainability.
