The Ford Via concept car built by Ghia Torino.
The Ford Via is a one-off concept car that was built by Ghia and made its North American debut at the 1990 Chicago Auto Show after being exhibited at the 1989 Geneva Motor Show. Designed by a team of stylists that included Ian and Moray Callum, the Via features a fiberglass body with two functioning doors, photosensitive roof panels, a full interior, and fiber-optic lighting. No drivetrain is fitted. The aerodynamic front clip and fiber optic headlights of the Ford Ghia Via concept car pokes into the auto show scene. A removable center section of the Ghia Via’s targa roof has glass that darkens when the sun is out. First displayed in Europe during 1989, the Ghia Via made its North America debut at the 1990 Chicago show. The styling cues on the Ghia Via inspired future Ford model designs like the two-door Probe and four-door Taurus.
