Notable among its few owners, one Shellette was acquired by Jacqueline Onassis for use on the Island of Skorpios, highlighting its appeal to high-profile individuals. Another early example was the DAF based beach car, used by the Dutch Royal Family at their summer residence in Porto Ercole. Today, fewer than ten Fiat Shellette models are known to survive, with at least three housed in museum collections, underscoring the vehicle’s significance and enduring legacy in automotive history.
