In March 1965, Fiat surprised everyone a bit by presenting at the Geneva Motor Show two sport versions derived from the Fiat “850,” a Coupé and a Spider.

The Fiat 850 Spider II: From 1968 the second series of the Fiat 850 Spider was put into production by Bertone, with the engine increased to 903 cm³ and 3 more hp. Stylistically the headlights were changed, vertically inserted in a scuffing to adapt to the current legislation, the position lights located under the bumper and not above it as in the model of the first series and in the bumpers two rubber-coated bolts were applied as in the berlinetta version.
