This unique Fiat 600 is among the few examples to have been cosmetically upgraded by famed Carrozzeria Viotti. While Viotti produced an entirely reskinned version of the 600 called the Sport in extremely limited numbers, this 600 features tasteful and elegant additions to the interior and exterior trim by the coachbuilder.
The Fiat 600 Viotti was finished in two-tone paintjob, the Viotti touches are swiftly apparent. Color scheme aside, the additional chrome trim and elegant custom grill give away that this is something different and special before the Viotti badges on the front fenders confirm one’s suspicions. Inside, the bicolor theme continues with custom cloth seats topped with vinyl inserts.
The Fiat 600 was undoubtedly the car that accompanied Italy through the economic boom. When it was presented it was very popular thanks to its modern lines, the brilliant engine and a cockpit large enough to fit the whole family. The demand for the 600 was so high that Fiat was unable to meet the waiting times, so that many relied on the coachbuilders in order to get its small family car sooner, even at the cost of a higher price.
