The Fiat 600 Lusso by Pinin Farina was a luxurious and exclusive version of the classic Fiat 600, offered at a price of 780,000 Lire, equivalent to around 29,000 Euros today. With fewer than 100 units built, this model stands out for its unique features and high-end craftsmanship. The exterior of the Fiat 600 Lusso was distinguished by a two-tone nitro-cellulose paint finish in exclusive colors. The front grille featured a central fog light, and the special reinforced chrome steel bumpers were fitted both at the front and rear. Direction indicators were mounted below the headlights, a design later adopted by Fiat for the second series of the 600. The headlights were complemented by chrome visors, and a chrome handle ornament was added to the hood for easier access. Additional chrome trim adorned the front fenders, doors, below the windshield, and along the rain gutters. The rear engine hood also featured chrome trim on its upper part, with shiny seals around the rear side windows. The engine hood hinges were made of polished metal, and the engine hood handle included a secure lock with a key. The car came standard with whitewall tires and special wheel caps. Inside, the Fiat 600 Lusso featured a dashboard enhanced with resinflex trim, a special fabric coated with polyvinyl resins produced by the eponymous Turin-based company. The dashboard was outlined with a chrome profile bearing the “Pininfarina” inscription. A city light indicator was present on the dashboard, and the cabin was fully upholstered to provide a luxurious feel.
