The Fiat 500e Tender2 by Castagna Milano is a striking homage to the iconic Fiat 600 Jolly, reimagined for contemporary tastes while paying tribute to its nautical roots. Drawing inspiration from the classic beach car designed by Carrozzeria Ghia, the Tender2 transforms the standard Fiat 500e into a luxurious, open-air vehicle tailored for leisurely coastal drives. The design of the Tender2 features a minimalist and elegant approach. It sports only two seats, with the doors removed and replaced by elevated access thresholds to enhance the open-air experience. The roof is completely absent, and the rear seats are removed, further emphasizing its beach-ready aesthetic. The car’s exterior is a visual feast of contrasts, with vibrant shades of yellow applied in two tones—one for the body and another for the wheel arches and door sills. These bright yellow hues are elegantly complemented by rich mahogany accents, which create a sophisticated nautical theme. The mahogany theme extends to the interior, where precious woods are meticulously applied to the sills, reminiscent of classic boat decking. Inside, the ambiance is both luxurious and eco-friendly, combining eco-leather upholstery with an Alcantara-wrapped dashboard. The Sapelli mahogany extends around the seats and into the rear compartment, creating a warm and inviting space. A particularly thoughtful feature is the integration of a compact shower area and a hidden safe, reflecting the car’s versatile design for both style and practicality. Customizing a Fiat 500e into a Tender2 by Castagna Milano is a bespoke process that can cost up to 90,000 euros, allowing clients to personalize their electric spiaggina to their exact specifications. Despite these extensive modifications, the technical aspects of the 500e remain unchanged. It continues to be powered by a 42 kWh battery and a 118-horsepower engine, ensuring that while the aesthetics are transformed, the core performance and functionality of the electric vehicle are preserved. The Fiat 500e Tender2 by Castagna Milano is not just a car; it’s a statement of luxury and creativity, blending classic charm with modern electric technology.
With the new Tender2, Carrozzeria Castagna inaugurates a series of one-offs derived from the electric Fiat 500, after several creations based on the combustion-engined model, also under the Abarth brand.
