Between 1955 and 1957, after his tenure at Ghia and before he joined Centro Stile Fiat, Boano founded his own company, Boano Lavorazioni Speciali. During this period, Boano produced several unique and iconic cars, including the Ferrari 250 low roof, Abarth 208 A, Lincoln Indianapolis, and the Boano Nardi Corsair. Among these masterpieces, the Fiat 1100 TV Boano stands out as a particularly exquisite model, built on the Fiat 1100/103 TV chassis. This car remained in Italy until 2014, when it was fully restored during 2013 and 2014, ensuring that its historical and aesthetic value was preserved.
