Vehicle Overview
The production version of the Ferrari Sergio by Pininfarina underwent significant modifications from its original concept design, with the most prominent change being the addition of a windshield and a removable hard top. These changes make the car more practical for road use, while still maintaining its unique styling. In the concept car, the headrests were integrated into the roll bar, giving it a distinctive open-air, minimalist look. However, in the production model, the headrests are no longer part of the roll bar, reflecting a shift towards more conventional safety and comfort features. The production version also shares several components with its donor car, the Ferrari 458 Spider, including its interior, tail lights, indicators, and side-view mirrors. This further aligns the production model with Ferrari’s standard road cars while keeping the bespoke design flair from Pininfarina. Despite these modifications, the performance of the Ferrari Sergio remains identical to the Ferrari 458. Powered by a 4.5-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine, it delivers 562 horsepower, ensuring a thrilling driving experience.
