The Ferrari 575 GTZ built by Zagato Milano.
The Ferrari 575 GTZ, a bespoke creation by Zagato Milano, was commissioned by Japanese collector Yoshiyuki Hayashi and unveiled at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show. This unique model was designed to evoke the spirit of the iconic 250 GT Berlinetta Zagato and to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Ferrari 250 range. The 575 GTZ received official endorsement from Ferrari, underscoring its significance within the marque’s storied lineage. Zagato’s signature double-bubble roofline is a standout feature of the 575 GTZ, paying homage to the distinctive designs of Ferrari models from the 1960s. The custom coachwork, characterized by its elegant lines and sophisticated aesthetic, recalls the classic styling that made Ferrari a household name in the automotive world. Additionally, the GTZ’s two-tone paint scheme adds a touch of vintage charm, further linking it to its historic predecessors. Mechanically, the 575 GTZ retained the proven components of the Ferrari 575M Maranello. This included the formidable 5.7-liter V12 engine, known for its power and reliability, and the advanced suspension and transmission systems that delivered an exceptional driving experience. By maintaining the mechanical integrity of the 575M, the GTZ combined classic design with contemporary performance. A limited run of just six cars were produced, making the 575 GTZ a rare and highly coveted model among collectors and enthusiasts. Each car is a testament to the collaboration between Ferrari and Zagato, showcasing the fusion of Italian design artistry and engineering excellence.
