Brazil-Italy connection. In 1961 Vemag decided to enter the luxury car market, while seeking, thinking long term, finding technological alternatives to the models offered by DKW. Thus, contacts with Bodywork Fissore, Italy, specializing in the design of automotive bodies.

Vehicle Overview

In 1962 Vemag received a prototype with an interesting aesthetic, but relatively poor in terms of interior trim. That same year the car was presented at the Motor Show. In June 1964 it was finally released in the Brazilian market. It was the first Vemag model equipped with Lubrimat. At its launch in June 1964, was considered by the press as a lean automobile, practical, sober and elegant lines and offers wide visibility to the driver and his passenger . It was recently recalled in 2008 during the launch of the Fiat Siena , by the similarities of their lines and the location of headlights and taillights.
