BMW 2000 TI Frua
The BMW 2000 TI Frua which became Monteverdi.
Vehicle Overview
The BMW 2000 TI Frua: Based on a BMW 2000 Ti manufactured in March 1966, coachbuilder Pietro Frua prepared the Monteverdi 2000 GTI coupe that was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1968. Seven months later, the car reappeared on the Frua stand at the Paris Motor Show, with BMW badges instead of Monteverdi logos and other modifications including spoked wheels. The car was sold to Peter Monteverdi, who converted it back to the Monteverdi 2000 GTI. The car changed owner in 1998 and subsequently again in 2019.
