The Aston Martin Coupe Centennial one-off by Zagato Milano is a unique creation commemorating Aston Martin’s centenary in 2013. This extraordinary milestone, marking 100 years of the iconic British automaker, inspired Zagato, a long-time collaborator with Aston Martin since 1960, to celebrate with the creation of three exclusive cars. Each of these bespoke vehicles featured distinct bodies, were based on different Aston Martin models, and were intended for clients from three separate continents. The Aston Martin Coupé Centennial was the first of these exclusive one-offs and was based on the Aston Martin DBS. This luxury coupé was meticulously crafted for a discerning Japanese collector. The design seamlessly blended the DNA of the Milanese atelier Zagato with the heritage of the historical British brand, resulting in a car that is as visually striking as it is exclusive. One of the standout features of this one-off is its hatchback design with a short tail, which gives the car a dynamic and athletic stance. Additionally, the signature Zagato double-bubble roof, a hallmark of the Milanese coachbuilder’s design language, enhances the car’s aerodynamic profile and adds to its distinctive appearance. Underneath its bespoke bodywork, the DBS Coupé Centennial retained the powerful and refined mechanical components of the Aston Martin DBS, ensuring that the performance matched its exceptional looks.
