Central to the SP600’s performance is its bespoke battery system, custom-designed by M.A.T. for maximum efficiency and power. In a landmark achievement, the Aspark SP600, a production intent prototype hypercar, has become the world’s fastest electric hypercar, clocking a remarkable top speed of 438.7kph. This record-breaking feat was realized through the dedicated efforts of Manifattura Automobili Torino (M.A.T.) in collaboration with tire specialist Bridgestone and driven by professional racer Marc Basseng.
Manifattura Automobili Torino, a company born in 2014, has accepted the challenge launched by the Japanese company Aspark to create an electric hyper car with the fastest acceleration in the world. The final result, a concentrate of technology, is presented to us by Riccardo Garella, sales & marketing manager of M.A.T.
