The Ares S1 Biposto is a striking one-off supercar crafted by Ares Design, the Italian coachbuilder renowned for its bespoke automotive creations. Sharing its technical foundation with the Ares S1 Project, the S1 Biposto is powered by a naturally aspirated V8 engine equipped with direct injection. This high-performance powerplant delivers its output to the rear wheels through an advanced 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox, ensuring a seamless blend of power and precision on the road. Designed exclusively for the “LuisaViaRoma for UNICEF” charity gala, held at the Eden Rock in Saint Barth on December 29, the Ares S1 Biposto stands as a masterpiece of engineering and design. This special edition supercar was one of three unique vehicles donated by Ares Modena for the event’s auction. Alongside the S1 Biposto, the atelier presented a customized ARES for Land Rover Defender Spec 1.5 Cabriolet and a coordinated ARES Scrambler for BMW R nineT, all of which garnered significant attention. The S1 Biposto is distinguished by its bold and futuristic design. The cockpit features two aeronautically inspired transparent canopies that envelop the driver and passenger. These canopies extend down to the seating level, creating an intimate yet innovative shared space while maintaining individuality for each occupant. Communication between the occupants is facilitated by an integrated intercom system, adding to the unique driving experience. Every element of the S1 Biposto’s design emphasizes exclusivity and aerodynamic sophistication. Its naturally aspirated V8 engine ensures a visceral and exhilarating performance, while the lightweight construction and advanced engineering prioritize speed and agility.
