The ARES Design S1 Project: its first ever handcrafted hypercar.

Vehicle Overview

The ARES Design S1 is an extraordinary supercar, based on the Chevrolet Corvette C8, blending cutting-edge technology with artisanal craftsmanship. Its breathtaking exterior was crafted by ARES Design’s Centro Stile, using advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) studies to optimize aerodynamics and stability. The car’s body is sculpted from hand-crafted carbon fibre panels, contributing to its striking low-profile silhouette. With bold, curvaceous wheel arches, a low front splitter, and a forward-set cockpit, the S1 exudes an aggressive yet elegant stance, designed for maximum downforce and minimal aerodynamic drag. Inside the ARES Design S1, the cabin reflects a blend of minimalism and luxury, with sleek, essential lines creating a 3D-like effect that envelops both the driver and passenger. The car’s Human-Machine Interface (HMI) is integrated seamlessly into the central console and dashboard. The luxurious interior will be customized by ARES Design’s master craftsmen, using the finest Alcantara, Napa leather, and carbon fibre materials. Every detail has been designed to heighten the sensory experience behind the wheel, emphasizing both driving pleasure and aesthetic beauty. At the heart of the S1 is a naturally aspirated V8 direct injection engine, which powers the rear wheels through an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. Tuned by ARES Design, the engine delivers a staggering 715 hp, allowing the car to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds. The bespoke exhaust system enhances both performance and sound. The car’s dynamics are supported by double wishbone suspension, forged aluminium axles, and adaptive Magnetic Ride Control, offering a thrilling yet refined driving experience. ARES Design plans to produce only 100 examples of this exclusive coupé, with pricing starting at around $1 million. However, with extensive customization options, many buyers may find themselves opting for even more personalized, high-end versions of this remarkable machine.
