The Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale by Zagato Milano.
The Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale represents Phase II of the ‘TZ3 Programme’, launched by Zagato on the occasion of the hundredth anniversary since Alfa Romeo’s founding (1920-2010). Compared to the Corsa version, the TZ3 Stradale has an entirely different approach: it celebrates the road Alfa Romeo Zagato cars, like the many versions of the 6Cs and 8Cs, the 1900 SSZs and, obviously, the TZs and SZs. For the first time in history, the TZ3 Stradale is based on American mechanics: its carbon fibre bodywork clads the rolling chassis of a Dodge Viper ACR. It is produced in a limited series of nine collectible units. The Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale arrives on the market a year later than the one-off TZ3 Corsa, and has significant differences from its racing sister. It is produced by Zagato in a small series of only 9 units and is built on the basis of the Dodge Viper ACR; this was made possible after the acquisition of Chrysler Group by Fiat S.p.A. The TZ3 Stradale is fitted with an 8.4-liter ten-cylinder engine made of aluminum with a 90-degree V configuration; the unit is capable of developing a maximum power of 600 hp at 6,100 rpm, and an engine torque of 760 N · m at a speed of 5,000 rpm. The transmission is entrusted to a manual six-speed gearbox, combined with a rear-wheel drive. It boasts a top speed of 325 km / h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.6 seconds.
