Produced between 1963 and 1976, Alfa’s lovely Giulia GTV Coupe was one of the most widely adored versions of the popular and versatile Giulia line. Based on a shortened Berlina platform, the coupe featured unique styling designed by the brilliant Giorgetto Giugiaro for Carrozzeria Bertone.
The Alfa Romeo GTV designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro at Bertone, shared its mechanical makeup with the Berlina and Spider, including coil-sprung suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, and five-speed gearbox. Alfa’s iconic twin-cam inline-four was offered in various displacements ranging from 1300 cc to 2000 cc with twin carbs or Spica mechanical fuel injection. Equally at home cruising the interstate as it is tearing up back roads, the GTV’s combination of practicality and performance makes it the ideal all-round classic for driving enthusiasts.
