Alfa Romeo Bella
The 1999 Alfa Romeo Bella Concept Car by Bertone.
Vehicle Overview
The Alfa Romeo Bella project, a 1999 prototype designed by Luciano D’Ambrosio at Bertone, envisioned a 2 + 2 coupé version of the Alfa Romeo 166. Unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show, the Bella aimed to test the possibility of an Alfa Romeo 166 coupé and gauge public interest. Its distinctive design, featuring LED technology and innovative rear seats for expanded luggage space, received positive feedback during testing. However, despite being ready for production, the Bella remained a concept car. Enthusiasts had to wait four years for Bertone to produce the Alfa Romeo GT. The Bella, like other Bertone projects, sought to attract attention with limited investments and significant emotional impact.
