The 6C 2500 project was born in 1939 to replace the now obsolete 6C 2300 which had given so much satisfaction to Alfa Romeo and will be produced until 1953.
The Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 Ministeriale: Intended for the usual clit clientele, it does not disappoint the expectations of the “alfisti”. The displacement of 2443 cc allows greater speed and recovery, but the imminent war limits its production and use in competitions. In spite of everything, Alfa Romeo courageously began to offer the 6C 2500 model in various chassis versions: Turismo with 3250 mm wheelbase, Sport with 3000 mm wheelbase and Super Sport with 2700 mm wheelbase. Only the Turismo is produced in the Alfa Romeo factories, while the other chassis are given to the carrozzeria outsiders who will create some of the greatest style masterpieces in automotive history. At the end of the conflict, the 6C 2500 model is re-proposed almost unchanged and it is still the external carriages that sanction its glory: Touring, Pininfarina, Stabilimenti Farina, Bertone, Boneschi, Viotti, Castagna, Ghia, are just some of the great names of the style who sign masterpieces on this chassis. This car was built by the Milanese Boneschi in 1950 with the configuration of a Presidential Cabriolet. The Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 Ministeriale is in good condition in dark blue and also the mechanics have always been well maintained, so much so that it has also participated in an Alfa Romeo rally around Europe, demonstrating all its efficiency.
