Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 GTC Castagna

The Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 was the car which drove the firm Alfa Romeo to the Olympus of sport products. This Vittorio Jano’s lucky design allowed the Alfa Romeo to win the 1928, 1929 and 1930 editions of the Mille Miglia race. The 6C 1750 GTC is the last evolution of this sport car but with an elegant tourist look; this model was the request of a refined élite of connoisseurs able to understand the tourist potential of the engine provided with a compressor. The step was prolonged of 6 cm compared to the previous series, the gear lever and the front axle were the same of the model 8C 2300. The brakes were increased. Pinin Farina, the Touring and Castagna, among the others, created for GTC some of the most beautiful Italian bodies of those days.
