Leonardo Fioravanti (born Milan, January 31, 1938) is an Italian designer, engineer, and entrepreneur.
Fioravanti is the founder and CEO of Fioravanti Srl. He studied mechanical engineering at the Politecnico di Milano, specializing in aerodynamics. Before establishing his own company, he worked for twenty-four years at Pininfarina, where he designed numerous Ferrari models, including the 365 Daytona, P5, P6, 512 Berlinetta Boxer, 365 GT4 2+2 (the precursor to the 400 and 412 models), 308 GTB, 288 GTO, Testarossa, 328, and 348. He later became the CEO and General Manager of Pininfarina Studi e Ricerche.
From 1988 to 1991, Fioravanti worked for the Fiat Group, initially as Deputy General Manager of Ferrari and later as the head of the Fiat and Alfa Romeo Style Centers. In 2008, he created the Ferrari SP1, a one-of-a-kind vehicle that marked the beginning of Ferrari’s “Special Project” program, which involves creating unique cars for private clients in collaboration with some of Italy’s most renowned designers.
On January 18, 2017, Fioravanti received an honorary award as a designer at the International Automobile Festival in Paris.
