Introduce
Daniele Gaglione, born in 1974 in Imperia, With a passion for industrial design, he pursued his studies at the Faculty of Architecture in Genoa, where he specialized in industrial design. After completing his academic journey, he gained valuable experience working at the Des-Tech studio in Florence, which further developed his design skills.
In 2001, Gaglione’s career took a significant leap when he joined the Alfa Romeo Style Center in Arese as an exterior designer. He quickly became an essential member of the team, contributing to the design of several iconic Alfa Romeo models, including the 166, 159, Giulietta, 8C Competizione, and 8C Spider. His expertise in combining elegance with performance made him a standout designer, aligning perfectly with Alfa Romeo’s commitment to both style and innovation.
In 2008, Gaglione was appointed Chief Exterior Designer at Alfa Romeo, where he took on a leadership role overseeing the exterior design of key vehicles. His work at Alfa Romeo solidified his reputation for designing aesthetically striking and functional vehicles, maintaining the brand’s rich heritage while pushing the boundaries of modern automotive design.
Outside of Alfa Romeo, Gaglione’s portfolio also includes the design of the Porsche Moncenisio, a limited-edition vehicle created for Alfredo Stola’s STUDIOTORINO. This project demonstrated Gaglione’s versatility, as he applied his signature design approach to a unique and exclusive sports car, blending luxury, sportiness, and innovation. The Porsche Moncenisio stands as a testament to his ability to create truly bespoke, high-performance vehicles.
In 2021, Gaglione became the Director of the Jac Italy Design Center in Turin. His wealth of experience, creativity, and leadership continue to guide the center as he shapes the future of Jac Italy’s design language, ensuring its vehicles combine cutting-edge design with functionality.
