The Montescani & Co., based in Turin, in Via Canova 35, had been founded in 1927 by Francesco Montescani, popular craftsman who knew how to exploiting solid experience gained during a long career conducted in the best bodybuilders of the time. His first creations were exposed to the Milan Fair in April 1927. Instead than did other body shops specializing in clothing patterns one brand Montescani embraced almost all the best production Italian era, demonstrating remarkable versatility not only as regards the models but also for the numerous design themes addressed, from coupè to torpedo from convertible to limousine. Also its production, mainly directed towards creation of large value, did not neglect the field of cheap car . Production continued success in the thirties, always pointing to wide circle of cars and body styles. In addition to Lancia (Lambda), Ansaldo, Fiat and Alfa Romeo also were often interpreted by Montescani. One of her last creations was a nice version 4-seater convertible Fiat 500 Topolino. Then the war ended to the business.
