After leaving Carrozzeria Touring, Vittorio Ascari, brother of the Alfa Romeo driver, participated in the founding of Carrozzeria Dux of which Sandro Volpi became president. The Milanese coachbuilder carried out bodies on Alfa Romeo, Bugatti and Citroën chassis. For Alfa Romeo he created some semi-rigid internal guides of the Duxia model on 6C 1500 and 6C 1750 T chassis. Later Dux received an important order from the American company Reo: one of these cars won its class 1st Concorso di Eleganza of Villa d'Esta in Como. Carrozzeria Dux was absorbed into Touring Superleggera in 1931.
