The GFG Style Prototypes appear in the second season of the Sky series “Diavoli”

The GFG Protoypes designed by Giorgetto and Fabrizio Giugiaro were spotted on the set of “Diavoli”, the Sky Atlantic series co-produced by Italy, France and UK which features Alessandro Borghi and Patrick Dempsey.

The prototypes were co-stars in over a minute of editing of the first episode of the second season, (which premiered on April 22, 2022). The GFG Vision 2030 and the GFG Kangaroo were driven by Massimo Ruggero (played by Alessandro Borghi) and by Oliver Harris (Malachi Kirby), in a sort of race at the Northamptonshire circuit in the United Kingdom.

At the finish-line two more GFG Style models were spotted: the Sibylla and the Dora.

The series tells the story about global financial conspiracies and power struggles between businessmen and large investment banks and this is just the latest episode of a long relationship between Giugiaro and the world of cinema (see the Delorean).

The goal was to blend the evocative spirit of Ferrari’s racing past with the technological sophistication of a modern supercar.

Under the guidance of Andrea Pininfarina, Chairman and CEO of Pininfarina S.p.A., and Paolo Garella, then-Head of Pininfarina Special Projects and founder of M.A.T., a talented team embarked on this ambitious project. Ken Okuyama, Director of Pininfarina Styling, played a pivotal role in shaping the P4/5’s breathtaking exterior, while Jason Castriota contributed significantly to its design evolution. Together, they collaborated closely with Glickenhaus, creating a true masterpiece of automotive design.

This extraordinary effort came with an equally extraordinary price tag—approximately $4 million—but the result was worth every cent. The Ferrari P4/5 by Pininfarina would become one of the most celebrated bespoke automobiles of all time, capturing the imagination of car enthusiasts and collectors alike.
