The Iso Grifo Targa, a rare and exclusive variant of the Iso Grifo, was produced in 1968 by Carrozzeria Pavesi, a small coachbuilder based in Milan. This special edition was extremely limited, with only 17 units ever made, making it one of the most sought-after versions of the Grifo. The Targa version was created in response to the growing demand for open-top sports cars during the 1960s, a period when many automotive enthusiasts were seeking the thrill of driving a convertible without sacrificing the rigidity and performance of a coupe. Carrozzeria Pavesi, known for its expertise in custom conversions, was entrusted with the task of transforming the Grifo into a Targa.
