The Seat 600 Multipla Panoramica by Carrozzeria Savio is a notable piece. While it’s considered unique, or nearly so due to the lack of certain data, it currently resides in the collection of the former licensee. Its backstory is intriguing. Like many companies, Seat had special vehicles for factory tours, akin to the 1400 without doors. Similar to how various coachbuilders transformed 600s into beach (Spiaggetta) or corporate cars. It’s believed that Seat acquired two Multipla Panoramicas in 1964, with one still in existence today. Carrozzeria Savio was tasked with converting them, intended for visits by political dignitaries to the factory. In fact, General Franco, accompanied by the Minister of Industry and other officials, utilized one of these Seat 600 Multipla Panoramica during his third factory visit. The Savio 600 Panoramica boasted a six-window body, along with the windshield and rear window. This particular model appears to be the sole one with such a configuration, featuring the added uniqueness of a removable roof, allowing for unobstructed visibility. Under the hood, it retained the unaltered engine of the Fiat 600 D.
