The Italdesign Columbus, unveiled in commemoration of the 500th anniversary of Christopher Columbus’s voyage to America, was a revolutionary concept in the automotive industry. Dubbed as a “sailing ship for dry land,” this 7-seater MPV van was envisioned as the epitome of luxury and status, tailored specifically for the urban landscapes of the United States. Measuring nearly 6 meters in length, the Columbus boasted a combination of robust engineering and sleek design.
