The Bentley Mark VII Bertone.
The Bentley MK VII Bertone: The Italian school of bodywork design was much appreciated by foreign carmakers. In 1952 and 1953, Bertone was working with some of the most important car factories in Europe. One of these, the prestigious Bentley, commissioned the Turin bodywork builder to create a luxury saloon on a Bentley Mark VII chassis. The masterful design of this model recalls the exclusive feel of the English cars of the day, and its almost excessively rounded lines belie the sobriety typical of a Bertone. The large vertical radiator grille is a natural end point for the long front bonnet, which lends the car an original distribution of balance. The generous amount of window surface is classic Bertone. The model debuted at the 1953 Turin Motor Show.
